Constitution







As an incorporated association, the Brindabella Cricket Club Inc has an independent legal personality and enjoys all the powers and capacities of a body corporate.  The Constitution of the Club sets out the rules under which the Club operates, including:
(a)classes of membership and qualifications;
(b)member's rights;
(c)liability of members;
(d)membership fees and subscriptions;
(e)discplinary measures;
(f)constitution and powers of the executive committee;
(g)election and removal of office-bearers;
(h)frequency and convening of meetings;
(i)management of Club funds;
(j)custody and inspection of Club books and records; and
(k)power to make by-laws.

The Constitution also provides for the office-bearers of the Club and specifies the various powers and functions of the office-bearers.  If you are intending to enter into any commercial arrangements with the Club, it is important that you familiarise yourself with the Constitution of the Club, including the limits on the capacity of the office-bearers to act on behalf of the Club.

The Constitution is binding on all members of the Club.
