Club History





The Brindabella Cricket Club Inc was incorporated on 12 June 2002 as a non-profit incorporated association under the Associations Incorporation Act 1991 (ACT).  The Club was established by a group of friends to play competition cricket in the ACT.  

The objects and purposes of the Club, as set out in its Constitution, are:

          (a)    to encourage and foster the game of cricket; and

          (b)    to enter a cricket team in a cricket competition in the Australian Capital
                   Territory; and

          (c)    to provide the facilities and environment for social contact between members
                   and their guests and generally to afford to them all the usual privileges, benefits,
                   and conveniences of an association of like nature; and

          (d)    to do all such acts, deeds or things necessary or conducive to fulfilling these
                   objects.

The Club team, the Brindabella Blacksnakes™, is competing in the fifth grade of the Canberra City and Suburban Cricket Competition.  In Season 2008–09, after performing well in the home and away series, finishing third, the team were defeated in the elimination final.
